Iago wakes up early on May Day. It's not easy, but he drags himself out of bed and away from the friendly entangling warmth of Xellos twined around him. The number-one priority, of course, is coffee. Once this is acquired, he sets about putting his plans for the day in ( motion )

Iago pulls his coat close as he and Xellos begin walking from the cafe, chilled as always by the grey indifference of English weather. It's but a short journey home, and he wonders if they're going to pass it all in uncomfortable silence or begin this discussion now. Few people are out, none paying attention.

It's a pleasant lodging of middle size, nothing at all like the enjoyably noisy, round-publicaned inns that Iago used to drink in back home – though the day manager, a small, curvy woman with small hands called Josephine Kimmer, reminds him vaguely of the master’s wife in the boarding house where he once lived. The important thing is that it has not one but two wine bars and a Help Wanted advert.

My computer's wireless adapter has spontaneously aborted, it seems, so Iago will be around only sporadically and usually after nine o'clock PST for an indefinite amount of time. Sorry if my replies to your comments are slow and/or poorly spelled for a bit.
*weeps*
ETA: All better! 40 bucks poorer, but the external adapter works better than the original anyway. *shrug* C'est la vie.
